Hi, I’m Kara, the face behind Made By K.

I started Made By K. because I genuinely love creating. Give me a Pinterest board, a trending Reel, or a blank Instagram feed, and I’m in my happy place. I love taking ideas and shaping them to fit each business in its own way, creating content that feels exciting, fresh, and true to who they are. There are few things I enjoy more than finding inspiration and thinking, “This would be so perfect for one of my clients.”

Outside of creating content, I love the freedom this business has given me. It allows me to build a career I’m proud of while still making time for the people and moments that matter most.

I grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina, and now call Maine home with my husband and our dog. I love the slower pace of life here, weekends spent exploring somewhere new, and being part of a community that truly values shopping local and supporting small businesses.

While I work with businesses across a variety of industries, I naturally find myself drawn to creative, women-focused brands like boutiques, interior designers, Pilates studios, bridal businesses, estheticians, and lifestyle brands. No matter who I’m working with, my goal is always the same: to create content that feels natural, reflects your business, and reminds people there’s a real story behind what you do.
